GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Grand Junction Rockies (COL) debut against the Pioneer League's North Division ended with a tally in the right-hand column.

The Missoula Osprey (ARI) got the best of Grand Junction in the series opener on Wednesday night, 6-3.

Matt Wessinger and Julian Yan both homered in the game for the Rox, but GJ's late inning pitching sunk them again.

Raul Fernandez came in for the eighth inning and surrendered three runs on two hits in one inning.

The Rockies are now 10-13 on the year.
