GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The GJ Rockies hoped to tie the record of the Ogden Raptors, but they fell short in the ninth.

The Rockies started strong with an RBI double from Jeff Poppick. Next inning Juan Ciriaco puts up the bunt to bring in a run and put the Rockies up 2-0.

But the Raptors turned things around in the 4th where they managed three runs and then again in the 8th where they added another three.

Rockies lose 11-4, and while the Ogden Raptors improve to 12-8 in the season, the Rox move to 10-10.

The teams will play again at Suplizio tomorrow at 2:05 PM.
