GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- It took eight innings for the Rockies to put a score on the board, but they managed to do it in style.

After a home run by the Chukars late in the game, the team only led by one, but it certainly was not enough.

Grand Junction came back in the bottom of the eighth with two men on base and a hit by David Dahl to bring in a run.

Next batter Ryan Garvey is up to two strikes, but a drop third lands him a spot on first and a chance for Matt Wessinger to score. Rockies lead 2-1 and take their fourth straight win - the longest winning streak of the season for the team.

At 10-9, they move up to second place in the South division, and will play the 11-8 Ogden Raptors Saturday at 7:05 PM.
