GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Grand Junction Rockies (COL) were only 4-for-15 with runners in scoring position on Wednesday night.

The Orem Owlz (LAA) had an early lead 5-0 that they were able to cling to. Jarrod Parks helped the Owlz establish that lead in top of the third when he slammed a three-run homer to the Lincoln Park parking lot just beyond right field.

The Rockies finished their first homestand with at 3-2 record and they are 5-5 through their first 10 games.

They are on a 5-game road swing starting Thursday in Ogden, UT.
