GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Austin Berk's next football game may not be for the Colorado State Rams.
Berk was invited to the inaugural BMW West Coast Bowl, which will take place on January 27th in Carson, California.
"It's great a feeling knowing that I'm getting the national recognition," Berk said.
The 6'5" defensive end is among the top recruits of the western region that will participate in the game, but then again, the soon-to-be GJHS grad may be restricted from the game.
The CSU-commit will be heading up to Fort Collins in January to get an early start to college. So that means, "it will be up to the NCAA," said Berk in an interview with KKCO 11 Sports on Wednesday.
Berk plans to leave for CSU in mid-January.
