Grand Junction Rockies end five game win streak

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - It has been an exciting run this past week for the Grand Junction Rockies, but their win streak came to a sudden halt against the Great Falls Voyagers in tonight's game.

The Rockies were the first to jump ahead, after David Dahl nailed a triple and Ashley Graeter was able to bunt him in. But the Voyagers came out with two runs in the third and then another in the fourth, leading 3-1.

Soon enough it was tied at three, but that did not last for long. Great Falls came out strong in the seventh, putting up four runs that would help them take the 8-5 win.

Grand Junction falls to 9-10 on the season and will play Great Falls again tomorrow night at Suplizio at 7:05 PM.
