GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Rockies squeezed their way back into playoff contention as they came back to win game 2 of the 3-game series against the Ogden Raptors.

This game was do or die, and they certainly proved why they are in the playoffs. After trailing 5-2 in the at the top of the eighth, GJ rallied for 5 runs to take the lead 7-2, but Ogden did not go down without a fight.

The Raptors tied it back up and took the team to 11 innings, where a single from Wilfredo Rodriguez brought Matt Wessinger in to give the Rockies the lead.

Then, talk about pressure, a full count and two outs on Justin Boudreaux in the Raptors half, and Rockies pitcher Shawn Stuart takes him out with the strikeout to end the inning and the game. Final score 8-7.

The teams have now been forced to a third game that will decide who moves onto the championship. It will begin at 4:00 PM Sunday at Lindquist Field.
