GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - It took eleven innings to declare a winner, but the Grand Junction Rockies came out on top against the Helena Brewers.
Pitching errors in the eighth helped the Rockies add a second run to the board, tying the game and ultimately forcing extra innings.
The tenth remained scoreless for the two teams, and an RBI single in the eleventh gave the team the lead that would last through the bottom of the inning.
The Rockies stay in a tie for first in the south division at 14-11. They'll now travel over to play the Great Falls Voyagers in a 3-game series.
