GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The GJ Rockies have done it again. They defeated Missoula Osprey in the final innings with the one and only Todd Helton helping along the way.
In the third, David Dahl sent it to the wall, bringing in Juan Ciriaco for a 2-1 lead. Then Todd Helton brought in another run when he singled to the deep left corner.
Helton also showed off his moves at first when he did a quick little jump to stop the ball and shuttled it to pitcher Patrick Johnson for an Osprey out.
In the sixth inning, Missoula put up two runs to take the 5-4 lead, but in the end it wasn't enough. GJ battled through and pulled ahead in the 8th, winning the game 7-5.
