GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. It was the possible championship game for the major girls (10-12 year old) in the Little League International Tournament Tuesday night. If Fruita defeated Grand Mesa, they would be the champion.

Instead, Mesa, spurred by a three-run first inning, took care of Fruita 7-2 and forces a second championship game on Wednesday. Winner of Wednesday's game will own the title.
