Grand Valley mourns loss of swimming coach, Steve Weir
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Beloved and talented swim coach, Steve Weir, passed away last Friday.
For the past six years Weir has dedicated his time teaching young swimmers for the Central/Palisade combined swimming team.
In September of last year, it was discovered that Weir had cancer, which he began fighting immediately.
Weir's family will hold services on Wednesday at 4:00pm at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
