Grand Junction Rockies adjust to life in Colorado

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Grand Junction Rockies are warming up to their new hometown as they start playing ball in the Western Slope.

Though close to a dozen players made the move with the team from Casper, even more players are fresh from the draft. With new faces and new places came a fresh beginning as the team quickly started into workouts to prepare for their first game.

The team will play their season opener against the Ogden Raptors on Monday, June 18th. They will play their home opener against the Idaho Falls Chukars on Saturday, June 23rd at 7:05 PM.
