GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Both Grand Junction and Palisade split their two games over the weekend during the Bill Fanning Classic, so each team was looking for a win to get up over .500.
Palisade got things going in the third, putting together a five-run inning. Tass Crow was throwing well for the Bulldogs until the Tigers finally got to him in the bottom of the fourth, tying it up at five apiece.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Tigers got two runs to overcome another deficit and knock off Palisade 8-7.
Grand Junction improves to 2-1 on the year while Palisade drops to 1-2.
