HS Girls Lax: Wildcats trump Tigers, remain undefeated

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Last year grand junction handled Fruita Monument pretty easily in their two match ups and the Tigers were easily the top team in the Mountain Conference. But after graduating much of their lineup, they're still getting used to the new scene with new players and combined with an impressive start from the Wildcats, could this possibly be a changing of the guard atop the league?

The Wildcats thought so, and jumped out to an early lead, extending it to 10-5 in the second half, but the TIgers came back with three straight to make it 10-8.

Anchored on the attack by Lindsey Burenheide, the Wildcats didn't flinch and take the win 13-8.
