GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Tigers lacrosse team had a stellar season under first year head coach and former CMU lacrosse standout Alexis Rawlings.

The Tigers finished first in league play, above last year's league champs, the Aspen Skiers, and went undefeated at 10-0.

In turn, they earned an automatic spot in the 2013 playoffs for the second time in the last four years. The girls will also have the opportunity to celebrate "Senior Night."

Below is the first round schedule:
Wed., May 8th at 6:00 PM, Walker Field
(13) Grand Junction Tigers vs. (20) St. Mary's Academy Wildcats
