GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Grand Junction and Central went into halftime tied at two, they came out of overtime tied at four.
The two teams traded goals all night. While Grand Junction held on to a 4-3 lead following Taylor Chaffetz goal, Central responded with Rylea Rottman delivering the game-tying shot.
With just under eight minutes to play, the two picked up the pace vying for the win, but nothing would be decided through regulation.
In overtime, it would be the same story. Central had a couple close shots, but Grand Junction's Guadalupe Torres was there with a couple game-saving grabs as the two finished in a 4-4 draw.
Grand Junction travels to play Valor Christian on Friday, while Central gets set to play Fruita next Tuesday, April 15th.
