GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Palisade Bulldog boys lost their first contest at home this season to the Steamboat Sailors.
The first quarter wasn't much of a scoring affair, but things picked up in the second. Going into halftime the Bulldogs held a double-digit lead, but that would wither away in the latter half. The Sailors drop the Bulldogs 43-40.
In the girls game, the Bulldogs were trying to put an end to a two-game losing skid of their own, but the Sailors weren't in agreement. Flannery Davis chipped in 9 points for Palisade in the 34-24 defeat.
