HS WRESTLING: Central goes 5-0 in SWL duals to take league title
The Central Warriors swept their duals today in the SWL dual championships in order to win the league title.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Central Warriors swept their duals Saturday afternoon in the SWL dual championships in order to win the league title.
A dozen of the state's top-ranked wrestlers participated in Saturday's 6-team tournament. The hosting Grand Junction Tigers gave the Warriors the best run for their money in their head-to-head matchup with the eventual league champs. After 14 matches, the Tigers and Warriors were tied at 34 points, but Central won the tie breaker by way of having 4 pins to Junction's 3.
The final standings from today's tournament are below:
1. Central, 5-0
2. Grand Junction, 4-1
3. Durango, 3-2
4. Fruita Monument, 2-3
5. Montrose, 1-4
6. Montezuma-Cortez, 0-5
