Lacrosse team starts strong at home

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The CMU lacrosse team came out with a big home-opener victory against the Colorado College Tigers.

After falling 1-0 in the first period, the Mavs picked up the pace and scored three straight in three minutes in the second.

They came out of halftime with even more fire, scoring five goals in the third and three in the fourth to win 11-7.

Their next game will be on the road against North Carolina starting March 7.
