GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Lady Mavericks came out energized for the game against CSU - Pueblo.
The first set was a nail biter, a few strong blocks from the wolves and missed shots from the Mavs brought the teams to a tie at 21. CMU pulled ahead, but not for long. Soon, Pueblo only trailed 24-23, but the Mavericks came out on top.
They followed with two more wins, 25-21 and 25-22, taking the match 3-0.
