GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Colorado Mesa women's basketball team defeated Simon Fraser Friday evening, 62-45, for their first win of the 2012-13 season.
The 17-point victory is also the first win for Taylor Wagner as the head coach of the Lady Mavs.
The Mavericks is scheduled to play Montana State on Saturday.
Notes:
Seniors, Kelsey Sigl and Katrina Selsor, both scored 17 points for the Mavs. Selsor added eight boards, while Sigl had six.
