GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Simply put, Logan Hancock loves the thrill and adrenaline of a good fight in the cage.

"Whatever you put into [training and fighting] and whatever you get out of it, is all on you," Hancock says.

"I like that aspect," he added.

Hancock has overcome two surgeries in the past five years. In 2007, his jaw was crushed while working on an oil rig. A few years later, he had to undergo eye surgery.

Saturday's fight will mark Hancock's second fight since his recovery from both of those surgeries.

"I get an itch to fight about once or twice a year," the Central grad said.

"People love to come out and watch, so I just give them what they want."

CMU's Brownson Arena is hosting Cage Wars 14 on Saturday. The fights begin at 7 pm.
