GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Deke Cisco was back on the field leading the Mavs offense, but they couldn't catch a break against the #1 CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves.

CMU put up a field goal and a touchdown but could not bring in more of the goods. Meanwhile the Thunderwolves offense was on fire but for good reason.

They came in as the best redzone and rushing team in the RMAC, with an undefeated record. They continued to convert on third down attempts, even pushing the envelope on fourth downs.

A fearless offense plus a powerful defense helped bring the CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves to their ninth victory of the season with a 48-10 win over the Mesa Mavericks.
