GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Mavs have tipped the scale and now have a winning record at 4-3.
After falling in their first game to the Montana St.-Billings Yellow Jackets on Friday afternoon, CMU brought in three straight wins to finish off the weekend.
The Mavs held a 13-5 lead going into the eighth inning, but a seven-run rally from Montana put some pressure on the home team. In the end, CMU held on for the win to defeat the Yellow Jackets 14-12.
