Mesa Mavericks bring in the wins
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Two wins is always better than one. Tonight the CMU Mavericks basketball teams gave the crowd something to cheer for.
The Lady Mavericks took on the Highlands Cowgirls and grabbed an easy 85-51 victory to remain undefeated.
The Mavericks played the Highlands Cowboys, trailed in the first minutes, but eventually took over. They went on to defeat the Cowboys 81-75.
Both teams play again on December 16th on the road against Fort Lewis College.
