GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - CMU's softball and baseball teams brought in a total of four wins for the school this afternoon.
The ladies came up big in their home opener, shutting out Black Hills State in their first game. Their second game of the doubleheader was another easy win, and Makayla Kovac came up big with a grand slam.
The men may have trailed by two in the first inning, but they came back with 10 unanswered runs on the way to a victory. All the magic of the second game came in the fifth inning, where Kennedy Kinkade put up a 3-run homer and justin rosales followed with a 2-run homerun.
