GJ Rockies win streak comes to a screaching halt

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Grand Junction Rockies started strong but quickly lost control to the Missoula Osprey in a blow out 17-7 loss.

Ryan Garvey did get a spark in the 1st inning when he put up his fourth homer of the season, bringing Ashley Graeter in with him. But that spark quickly got rained on.

Missoula came out with a bang in the second when Pedro Ruiz nailed a 3-run homer stealing the lead 4-2. It all went downhill from there, and the Rockies couldn't come back.

The team will play their first and only game against the Billings Mustangs Monday night at SuplizioField at 7:05 PM.
