GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Monument Little League continued driving through the playoff brackets in a 13-5 win against Colorado Springs Little League.
Monument went into the fourth inning up 8-0, but Justin Briggs of Springs quickly changed that. He hit the ball past third for the first run for the team, and it was a snowball effect. Jacob Ratcliff came up with the sacrifice fly and allowed Briggs to score. But all this effort was not enough.
Monument dominated the next innings and came away with the win.
