Monument LL defeats Fruita in 9&10 "A" Boys division

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The third time is the charm, or in some cases, the fourth. All four of Monument Little League's teams swept their divisions and will move on to state.

The 9&10 "B" Boys, Major Boys, 11-year-old Boys all took the district titles, and tonight, Monument's 9&10 "A" Boys defeated Fruita LL and will jump on the train.

It seemed like an easy win for Monument, going up a quick 10-0 by the 3rd, but Fruita came back fighting. They scored one run after another, eventually only trailing by 5.

However, Monument was not going to let their lead slip through their gloves. After coming up empty in the 4th, they delivered in the 5th and went on to win 15-5 in five innings.

This is not the right video. This is a video of the GJ Rockies and not the Monument little league 9-10 championship.
