Monument LL's All-stars are posting an incredible run

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Dominant, unbeatable, perfect. Those words describe the four boys' All-Star teams from Monument Little League that each won a District 1 title over the weekend.

Between the four teams - 9&10 A Boys, 9&10 B Boys, 11&Under Boys, 12&13 Boys - nobody lost a single game. They were a combine 18-0 in district play.

If that isn't impressive enough, then try this on for size: of the 18 wins, only three were within a 10-run margin. The other 15 were stopped early as per the 10-run mercy rule.

Only three of the four teams will move onto state tournaments, the 9&10 A boys, 11&under boys, and the 12&13-year-olds.

Each bracket gets underway this weekend. The 12&13-year-old bracket will be held at Monument Little League's fields.

That is great. They have worked hard to be as good as they are. People shouldn't hold it against them for being good.
