GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Ogden Raptors (LAD) have a way with winning over the Grand Junction Rockies (COL).

The Rox entered the 3-game series on Saturday just one game back of Ogden with a real shot at earning the top spot of the South Division.

Needless to say, the Raptors weren't impressed with the Rockies 4-game win streak heading into the weekend.

Ogden took all three games in their first visit to the Western Slope. Monday night, their bats continued to punish the Grand Junction pitching staff. The first-place Raptors scattered 15 hits and 10 runs throughout the night, scoring in six of the nine innings played.

The Rockies finished their 7-game homestand with a 4-3 record, but now they sit 4.0 games out of first place in the division.

They hit the road against the Missoula Osprey (ARI) on Wednesday.
