GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Carlos Polanco picked up his sixth win of the season, as the Grand Junction Rockies bounced back from a late-inning Friday loss, topping Great Falls 5-3.
Polanco gave up a two-run homer in the first and another home run in the fourth, but constantly got out of jams with runners in scoring positions. He totaled 10 strikeouts in six innings of work.
Dom Nunez continues to see the ball well, as his two-run single in the third gave the Rockies their first lead. Roberto Ramos and Wesley Jones knocked home a couple more runs in the fourth, as the Rockies take the second game of the series 5-3.
