RMAC makes CMU most awarded team thus far
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The RMAC is proving early on this basketball season that it is very fond of Colorado Mesa's squad.
The Mavericks have been awarded with weekly player awards three of the four times that the conference has given out player of the week honors this season.
On Monday Colton Burgon was named the RMAC's best offensive player for the first time this winter.
Burgon received the defensive player award last week and Mike Melillo recieved the offensive recognition in the first week of the season.
No other team in the conference has earned three awards this season.
