GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Rockies are in the spot they want to be heading into the final eight games of the regular season.
Grand Junction finalized a two-game sweep over Idaho Falls on Wednesday night with a 5-2 victory.
With the win, the Rockies are in sole possession of second place in the South Division, 1.0 game behind Ogden.
If the Rockies can stay in this position, they will make it to the playoffs since Ogden already earned a postseason berth by winning the first half of the season.
