GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- CMU's coaching staff says they have the best pitcher in the nation, and it seems the rest of the RMAC is finding that out quickly.
Jessica Severinsen transferred to CMU this year from Northern Iowa CC, and just two weeks into the conference schedule she's earned her first weekly honor from the RMAC.
Severinsen was named the conference's Pitcher of the Week after two wins in three appearances this past weekend. She is now 6-1 on the year and leads the Lady Mavs with 39 strikeouts.
