Source: Jamie Dunn is stepping down from FMHS Softball

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Sources close to the situation told KKCO 11 Sports on Wednesday night that Fruita Monument's head coach of Softball, Jamie Dunn is resigning.

Dunn is accepting an assistant coach position at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colo., according to the source.

Over the past three seasons at Fruita Monument, Dunn has tallied a 56-11 overall record. She guided the Wildcats to the State Semifinals in 2010.

    I hope that this is true. She let the parents of certain players on this team run everything! She also treated her players that were not her favorites with such little respect that it is amazing that she still had enough for a team.

      I am a lifelong native and this type of comment is so typical of the Fruita mentality. Its no wonder you people can't keep quality coaches because you don't know and can't appreciate it when you have it!
