GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - It's been an exciting season thus far, and to top it off the Grand Junction Rockies have three players that have made the All-Star Team.

Two pitchers, Scott Oberg and Eddie Butler, along with David Dahl were named to the team this afternoon. David Dahl adds the title Pioneer Leage MVP.

Oberg leads the Pioneer League in saves with 11 in 13 opportunities. Opposing players are hitting .193 against the pitcher this season. Meanwhile, Butler has allowed just 8 walks while striking out 45.

And Colorado's first round draft pick David Dahl becomes the league's overall MVP. He is in second hitting with a .369 average, and he leads the league with 87 hits and the season's longest hitting-streak at 27.

Julian Yan, Juan Ciriaco, and Jeff Popick were named to the honorable mention team.

Oberg, Butler, and Dahl will be honored at the September 5th game against the Ogden Raptors.
