GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Mavs football team is heading into their season finale this Saturday with a 4-4 conference record.

That puts CMU in a tie for fifth in the RMAC. Whether they win or lose on Saturday, they will have a better conference record than last season when they finished 3-6, but a loss drops their overall record to 4-7, which is the same record they ended with in 2011.

"A win this week would send the seniors out on winning note, and help build the foundation with our younger guys," said first year head coach Russ Martin.

The Adams State Grizzlies host the Mavericks Saturday at 1pm.
