GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Grand Junction's own, the JUCO World Series, is up for a national sports magazine award.
JUCO is nominated for the Best Sports Event for the category of amateur sports for SportsTravel Magazine.
The competition is fierce for JUCO, though. Also nominated in their category is the NCAA Div. I Men's Basketball Tournament, the Big East Men's Basketball Tournament and the NCAA Div. I Women's Softball College World Series.
