Week Nine: Rockies Extra Innings

By  |

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The Grand Junction Rockies have hit the bottom of the Pioneer League totem pole and have remained there for a majority of the second half.

Though they were able to pull out a couple wins in week nine, it wouldn't be enough to move them up the rankings. Luckily, they already punched a ticket to the playoffs, now it's just a matter of finding that momentum to ride into the post-season.

Earlier in the week, Anthony Sanders talked about the team's mindset saying "They're too worried about the wins and losses. At this level it's about development. They were having fun in the first half, and we just need to get back on that track."

The Rockies will start a four-game set opposite the Helena Brewers on Saturday at 7:05 PM.
