MONTROSE, Colo. - The Montrose Indians have been winning by big margins over sub-par teams since their week one loss to Glenwood Springs. On Friday night they handed out another lashing and the competition was no joke.
The Indians cruised to a 34-6 win against a Pueblo West Cyclone team that entered with a 3-1 record. In the past four games, Montrose has outscored their opponent 172-15.
Jordan Passehl gave Montrose an early lead with a 57 yard touchdown run on the Indian's second offensive play from scrimmage. Nathan Robertson continues to fill in nicely at quarterback in place of Kirk English, who is back on the field for the Indians, but not back under center yet after suffering a broken throwing hand in week one.
