GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Delta is going back to the playoffs for the first time since 2009.

The Panthers received the 13th seed in the 16-team bracket for Class 3A.

Their first round opponent is fourth seeded The Classical Academy, whose record on the season is 9-1.

The Panthers will be on the road for this contest which kicks off at 1pm on Saturday.

Panthers head coach Ben Johnson spoke with KKCO 11 Sports on the phone on Monday night about the first round match-up.
