GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - 1/16 of an inch may not seem like much, but it was enough to delay the beginning of the 5A state swimming championships on Saturday.
The meet was delayed an hour and half to fix the plastic barriers that determine the pools length.
In the mean time sophomore Kyle Goodwin from Regis Jesuit High School won his second straight diving title, beating out fellow Raider Matt Mauser by only 3 points.
