Panthers defense stops Rifle in WSL win

DELTA, Colo. - Robert Simpson had two first half interceptions to help hold the Rifle Bears to only three points in Delta's 19-3 win on Friday night.

The Bears scored the first three points of the game on a field goal that was set up on a 45 yard run.

The Panthers (2-2) scored 19 unanswered points to get the win.

The Delta Panthers next game is at Moffat County (3-1) on Friday, October 2 at 7:00 p.m.
