Palisade Beats Rifle in Walk-Off Fashion

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Bulldogs overcame a 3-0 deficit to beat the Bears 5-4 in eight innings at Bergman Field on Thursday night. Junior infielder Regan Van Noy legged out a 2-out triple and was driven in by Junior catcher Kendra Barnes for the walk-off win.

Shelby Hanson struck out 15, including 4 in the first inning, after a runner reached on a dropped third strike. Palisade (2-2, 9-3) takes the field again on Saturday against Steamboat Springs.
