GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Cherry Creek enjoyed more than just the weather in the Grand Valley on Saturday afternoon. The Bruins beat the Tigers 35-3 at Stocker Stadium.

Bruins QB Kain Colter capped off the first two drives with a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown.

Grand Junction (1-0, 2-4) had trouble moving the ball, but got into field goal range in the final minute of the first half to put three points on the board.

The Tigers play at Durango against the undefeated Demons in a Southwestern League game.
