Wildcats shutout for fourth straight game

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - (KKCO) For the fourth straight game the Fruita Monument football team has been shutout.

The Wildcats lost on Friday night to the Douglas County Huskies 34-0. Fruita Monument has dropped to 2-5 on the season.

The shutout streak began on September 16 when the Grand Junction Tigers won 13-0. The Wildcats followed up that loss with a 36-0 loss against Grand Junction Central and a 27-0 loss against Durango.

The Wildcats will look to end their scoring droubt on Friday, October 23 when they take on the Montrose Indians in Montrose.
