Bulldogs, Wildcats lose in round of 16

The Palisade Bulldogs and the Fruita Monument Wildcats saw their seasons come to an end at the state softball tournament on Friday morning.

The Bulldogs lost to the top seeded Wheat Ridge Farmers 10-0.

The Wildcats played in a close game but fell short 1-0 against the 7th seeded Brighton Hawks.
