Indians derail Demons, win fourth straight title

MONTROSE, Colo. (KKCO) - Todd Casebier and the Montrose Indians won their fourth straight Southwestern Conference championship with a 30-14 over Durango in Montrose on Friday night.

Glayden Berry and Nate Robertson both scored rushing touchdowns in the first quarter to put Montrose in control, 14-0.

Montrose (9-1, 4-0) has won four in a row. Their only loss of the season came at home against Rock Canyon in overtime.

The Indians will likely host their first round game in the 4A playoffs, which start next week.
