Bulldogs squeeze out win at Warrior Challenge

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - After establishing a 11 point lead in the first quarter the Palisade Bulldogs were able to hang on to a two point win over Douglas County on Thursday evening at the Warrior Challenge.

The Bulldogs got the season opening win over the Huskies 54-52.

It took a fourth quarter comeback to get the win too. With 11.8 seconds left in the game senior guard Jeremy Hayden drove to the hoop for the game winning layup to give Palisade the 53-52 lead.
